Indexing article manually in Google Search Console (GSC) is easy. You don’t need to get panic if your article in your website hasn’t been indexed by Google.
This is the appearance when your articles in your website are not indexed in Google.
So, if you type “site:your article link” in Google search box and find picture like above, it means your article hasn’t been indexed or read by Google.

Therefore, you need to make your article indexed and shown in Google search engine result page (SERP). What are they?
Indexing manually in GSC is easy. But, you need to check it again to make sure that your article is indexed by Google search engine.
So, these are the steps of indexing manually in GSC:
First, you need to copy your article link. You can copy from your PC, laptop, or phone.
Open https://search.google.com/ in your device. Make sure that the website domain and article link domain are same.
After pasting you article link in the top box of Google Search Console, make sure once again that the domain name in the left side and domain name in your article link are same.
So, after making sure that both are same, click enter. And you will find notification like this:
So, after finding this appearance, click “Request Indexing” button. And you will get notification that your article has been submitted to Google to get indexed.
After you get this notification, you need to wait your article to get indexed by Google. It can take uncertain time, especially if your website is new.
If your website’s age is old (1 month or older), it takes shorter time to get indexed by Google. You need to check it periodically in Google using “site:your article link”.
So, these are steps to index your article manually in Google. Consistency to upload article in your website is the most important thing to make your website recognized by Google faster.
