SEO Project : Aqiqah Safana, The Biggest Aqiqah Catering in Purbalingga

Aqiqah Safana is the biggest aqiqah catering service in Purbalingga (Central Java) right now. I checked keyword “Aqiqah Purbalingga” this morning (February 8th 2026) and Aqiqah Safana was in the 1st rank in Google SERP and Google Maps.

Aqiqah means the Islamic tradition of sacrificing an animal on the occasion of a child’s birth as a Sunnah (recommended practice) to express gratitude to Allah for the blessing of a new life (Muslim Hands USA).

This morning, I remember that I used to help the Aqiqah Safana 9 years ago. Exactly in 2017.

Story of Ajat Santoso, Owner of Aqiqah Safana

Ajat Santoso is my old friend. Ajat was student of Animal Science Faculty UGM Yogyakarta and I studied in Chemical Engineering UGM.

I remembered that Ajat and me rented a house in Jogja to run business in 2016. I ran clothing (konveksi) business and Ajat ran milk production business.

I have used SEO in my old clothing business since 2016. I remembered I optimize keyword of “konveksi Jogja”. My best position in Google SERP is rank 2. Not bad for beginner.

One day, I was invited to be mentor in a SEO training in a coffee shop near UGM. I was surprised because I know there were many better SEO practitioners at that time.

I invited Ajat to the event because there were 2 participants cancel the attendance in the last minute. I called him to come to the venue and join the training for free.

At that time, I was a “SEO Facebook” practitioner. I admit it because today in 2026, “SEO Facebook” term is discussed again by SEO practitioners in LinkedIn.

Creating Aqiqah Safana in Google Maps and Instagram

I knew Ajat wanted to start new business in his origin, Purbalingga. He got married before he graduated from UGM and want to start his own business with his family in Purbalingga.

So, I shared my SEO experience with Ajat. I shared how to create business location in Google Maps. He created Aqiqah Safana point in Google Maps for the first time at that moment.

Not only creating point in Google Maps, I also shared how to optimize website and social media account. Ajat started practicing by himself since that day.

We separated in 2018. Ajat cameback to Purbalingga and I also cameback to Malang. We chose our own path since 2018. Before we separated, Ajat has created and optimized Aqiqah Safana point in Google Maps and Instagram acccount.

I sent message to Ajat this morning. He called me back and we talked for 15 minutes. He remembered when I helped him to start Aqiqah Safana in a coffee shop in Jogja.

Now, Ajat has 40 employees in Aqiqah Safana. He also has his own goat farm to support the lambs availability for Aqiqah catering.

He said that Aqiqah Safana has got 1200+ reviews in Google Maps. About 99% of the reviews are positive. It creates big trust for Aqiqah Safana.

His knowledge in Animal Science UGM is completely implemented in his business right now. One day, I will visit him in Purbalingga for sure.
